1 item (enclosure to Lord Dorchester's letter of 7 June 1794) extracted from CO 42/100. Ohio and Indiana. Map of the Maumee River and Great and Little Miami Rivers showing the route of General Anthony Wayne's expedition against the indigenous population in 1793 between Fort Washington [Cincinnati] and Fort Recovery. Inset a plan of Fort Jefferson and stockades. The map shows place names, forts and roads. An overlay 20.5 cm x 36.5 cm on the upper part of the map gives greater detail. Dorchester's letter refers to the expedition as having taken place in the fall of the previous year. |
