'Carte d'Une Partie de L' Amerique Septentrionale Pour servir a l'Intelligence du Memoire sur les pretensions des Anglois au sujet des Limites a regler avec la France dans cette Partie du Monde.' Map showing the extent of French sovereignty in the Maritime Provinces and New England in the seventeenth century and British proposals for a settlement in 1760-1761. Copy by John Adams of a French original, December 1829. Reference table to the boundaries of Nova Scotia and Quebec south of the St Lawrence at various times in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Scale: about 1 inch to 140 miles. Cardinal points. Made to illustrate notes on the boundary line between Quebec and New Brunswick and the United States of America.
