'A Sketch of the several Routes of the French from Quebec to the Mississippi'... and of the routes 'from New York to Oswego... Albany to Montreal... from the Kenebec River to Quebec and New Hampshire to Lake St. Pierre': roughly an area covered by parts or the whole of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Ontario, Quebec and the Great Lakes. Showing rivers, lakes, portages, Indian tribes and lands. Scale: 1 inch to about 36 miles. Table of explanation to routes. Done by order of Major-General Shirley by William Alexander.
