Description: |
1 item extracted from FO 4/8 (folio 878). 'A Map of the Genesee Lands in the County of Ontario and State of New York according to an accurate survey which was made of the same 1790'. Shows division into township lots, each six miles square. Key to conventional signs; reference table to sale and settlement of townships. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. Compass indicator. Some lots are annotated in MS: 'C.W.'. A MS note reads: 'Each Township consists of 23,040 acres. Those marked C.W. are those belong[ing] to Chas. Williamson or under his management.'
