Also includes Wirksworth. Map on three sheets covering the enclosed area only (260 acres) and showing the land after enclosure. Also shows springs, named gates, named turnpike roads and other roads, field boundary ownership, some named landowners. With border and compass indicator. By Francis Sandars, 1807. Map 1 shows allotments in Kirk Ireton. Also shows old enclosures. Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains. Map 2 shows exchanges of land in Kirk Ireton. Also shows School Brook. Scale: 1 inch to 6 chains. Map 3 shows exchanges of land in Wirksworth between Philip Gett and Chs [Charles] Hurt. Dimensions of maps: (1) 62 cm x 88 cm (2) 63.5 cm x 72 cm (3) 38 cm x 71 cm. |
