Energywatch was constituted under the Utilities Act 2000 section 2, to protect the interests of all domestic, commercial and industrial energy (gas and electricity) consumers. On 1 October 2008, Consumer Focus was created following the merger of Energywatch, Postwatch, and the National Consumer Council. |
