Rental of the manor of Denge Marsh, Kent, made in the time of Thomas Ludlow, Abbot of Battle (1417-1435). Parchment. Bound in boards, with original white tanned leather, with an outer cover also made of white tanned leather. The binding appears to be original. In binding of rental is a folio of a 15th century Antiphoner. Matins Advent; Iic. 'Et datum. R Missus est gabriel.; 1f.; not Sarum but cf. Breviarum Sar. i, xxii, xxvi-xxviii. 16 folios
