Thomas Smith, merchant. v. Sarah Marks, widow, John Marks, Thos. Marks, Geo. Marks, Saml. Marks, John Cudlip and his wife Elizth. (whose maiden name was Elizth. Marks), John Power, James Smith.: Liabilities of John Smith, late of Bideford, merchant, who is said to have carried on a considerable trade to Virginia, in America, in the tobacco trade. Touching bonds given by him to the Custom House at Bideford as security for the payment of duties on tobacco, &c., &c.
