Digby, of Sandon (Stafford), and Mary his wife.: Monies borrowed by Sir Everard Digby (lately attainted of treason) of Mr. Matthew, of Coverton (Bucks), and said to have been borrowedfor the use of his mother, Mrs. Mary Erdeswick, "towards the buying of the wardship of Richard Erdeswick her son." Whether he was indebted to his mother, Mrs. Mary Erdeswick, now Mrs. Digby, and how the same was repaid? &c. [Sampson Erdeswick, deceased, husband of Mary, and rents out of a place called Tytton (Leicester), and Mr. Matthew, are mentioned.]: Stafford; Bucks; Leicester.
