Appellant: William Malcomson, Joseph Malcomson and Robert Malcomson, all of Portlaw, Waterford, Ireland, owners of the steamship Magnet, and also Carl Zuurban of Purmerend, Holland, John Draak of Islington, Middx, Philip Leaw and Co of Mile End, Middx, Jacob J Morrell of Walworth Road, Surrey, James Brewster of Caledonian Road, Surrey, Samuel Maw Long and Co of Caledonian Road, Surrey, and Joseph Prickett of West Smithfield, London, all owners of portions of her cargo. Respondent: Murray Clayton of Methley, near Wakefield, Yorks, owner of the schooner Ann. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 6 Nov 1858. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
