Apparently intact file of judicial writs relating to the Kent eyre of 1293.

This file contains various judicial writs summoning parties residing in other counties to appear for pleas held in the Kent eyre which began on 12 April 1293. The writs appear in return date order, ranging from Easter one month to the morrow of Martinmas 1293, and the outermost membrane bears the words 'Brevia forinseca apud Cantuar' ('Foreign writs at Canterbury'), indicating that it acted as the file's wrapper.
