Appellant: Faustini De Zugasti of Bilboa, Spain, 1858 - 1859, owner of the Spanish barque Tecla Carmen, and master and crew of said barque. Respondent: Gazaway B Lumar of Savanna, James C Bell, Samuel Clarke and Orville P Wheeler of New York, and Hazekiah Huntingdon of Hartford, all in USA, owners of the American ship North American. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 8 Mar 1858. Lower Court: HCA.

Appellant: John Murphy, master of the American ship Golden Star and agent of the owners of said ship and also the owners of her cargo.
