Title: Welsh Office and predecessors: Plans of Airfields in Wales

This series contains military survey maps amended to show details of Welsh airfields. The plans were based on existing Ordnance Survey maps but were unlikely to have been created by the Survey. Some plans contain details of plans for stripping the airfields at the end of World War II.

The plans supplement information contained in the aerial photograph collection held in the Aerial Photography Unit at Cathays Park.
