Catalogue description Department of the Environment: Directorate of Ancient Monuments and Historic Buildings: Ancient Monuments Laboratory, Reports (Series II)

This series consists of reports produced by the Ancient Monuments Laboratory from 1976 when the current form of report was introduced.

The reports concern investigations undertaken at archaeological sites and analyses of materials obtained from the sites. They consist of typewritten and manuscript papers and computer printouts together with, where necessary, photographs, drawings and plans illustrating the subject and the area in the report. The computer printouts sometimes form a supplement to reports and in other instances a complete report and are to be found in AT 15/78-158. There is also an index to reports in AT 15/77.
