A high proportion of murder cases are infanticides. The twentieth century depositions are accompanied by lists of witnesses and exhibits and formal correspondence about the conduct of the trial and/or appeal. Documentary exhibits, mainly correspondence, photographs and medical reports are also included. Notable cases include the prosecutions resulting from the Rebecca Riots of 1837 to 1843, riots at Tonypandy in 1920 and the acquittal of Harold Greenwood for murder in 1920. |
