Tithe map of West Hythe (parish), Kent. Shows buildings (named), martello towers, redoubt, fort, Dymchurch Wall, wreck, cross, boundary posts and trees, fence ownership, field gates, footpath and/or bridleway, waterbodies, bridges, canal, antiquities (Roman ruins). Some foreshore features depicted: sands, low water mark ordinary and spring tides. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains; construction line diagram at 1 inch to 30 chains [1:23,760]. First class map. Construction lines shown. By Thomas Thurston, Ashford. There are long notes on Shepway Cross and the wreck of a Dutch warship.
