The organisation of the Special Operations Executive (SOE) in Malaya was extensive but the papers are relatively few. They include reports on the establishment of the Oriental Mission (OM) and its personnel and an account of Lt Col Warren's escape party in 1942. Chapman/Broome reports provide detailed history of the Anti-Japanese Union and Forces (AJUF) and left-behind parties. There are a number of reports on submarine operations. GUSTAVUS/CARPENTER contains an operations war diary and some lists of casualties and prisoners of war.
