Administrative / biographical background:

The Digital Twin (DT) Hub was created by the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB), established in 2017 as a five-year partnership between the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the University of Cambridge.

When the CDBB partnership ended in 2022, the DT Hub entered into partnership with the Catapult Network, under its Connected Places Catapult centre. The DT Hub also collaborates with the National Digital Twin Programme established by BEIS.
