The Electoral Commission Board is comprised of Commissioners appointed by The Speaker's Committee on The Electoral Commission who oversees the Commissioners recruitment. All Commissioners come from different political backgrounds. The Board sets out the overall strategic direction of The Commission, and ensures The Electoral Commission delivers its strategic goals. It sets out regulatory priorities and monitors activities. It makes regulatory or other strategic decisions if required. It ensures The Commission uses public funds efficiently and effectively. |
