Description:

Captured ship: Nossa Senhora de Rozario e Santa Anna (master Manuel Tavares).

History: a Portuguese ship (60 tons, 7 men and a boy), bound from San Lucar to Amsterdam, laden with brandy; taken on 30 April / 11 May 1748 off Dungeness by the privateer The Anson (Benjamin Goodwin commanding), and brought into Dover.
