The Agricultural Waste Plastics Collection and Recovery Programme was created to research the economics and practicalities of collecting and recycling all farm plastic waste. It was established following the award to the Agricultural Waste Stakeholders Forum (AWSF) of £1million of funding from the Secretary of State for the Environment in 2006 to develop a programme of work to look at how farm plastic waste could best be collected and recovered. |
