The Personal Accounts Delivery Authority (PADA) is a non-departmental public body (NDPB) accountable to Parliament and reporting, through a Board, to the Secretary of State for the Department for Work and Pensions. Its role is to set up a national, trust-based pension scheme called NEST (National Employment Savings Trust; the new name for the personal accounts scheme) and to support the process by which people are enrolled in this or another pension scheme.
