Anonymous letter addressed to the head keeper of Enfield Chase warning him that threats have been against his life and the lives of his servants following the shooting by them of a poacher. The writer names Ambrose Sturgis, a surgeon who served his time with Sharpe an apothecary in Walthamstow, and Young a surgeon living near Shadwell church in Ratcliff Highway.
