Folios 45-46. Draft letter to the Treasury from the Home Secretary transmitting the King's wishes that warrants should be prepared for his signature granting pensions of £1200 per annum to Lady Hester Stanhope and £600 per annum to each of Charles and James Stanhope and contingent pensions of £1200 each to Lady Lucy Taylor and Lady Griselda Tekell on the death of their respective husbands. These awards give effect to the dying wishes of William Pitt as transmitted to the Home Secretary by the Bishop of Lincoln.
