Condition/Injury/Disease: Gunshot wounds of hips. Details and Outcome: Patient wounded 26/09/1915, received bullet wound of both hips penetrating pelvis. [Transferred to convalescent home]. Readmitted to East Leeds 31/10/1915 with high temperature and discharging wound of right buttock. Operation 05/11/1915, abscess over sacroiliac joint opened and drained. Necrosed bone detected. Medicine administered, details listed. High temperature and swelling of wounds persisted. Patient died 20/02/1916. Two page post-mortem report attached. Eight clinical charts attached.
