Condition/Injury/Disease: Shrapnel wound of spine; Paraplegia; Fracture of lumbar vertebrae. Details and Outcome: Patient wounded 19/01/1915. Ailments listed: bullet entry wound, paralysis of legs, urine retention, cystitis. Treatment: catheter fitted, bladder washed out. Bullet detected in lumbar region.
