9809. Reidesel and Hamilton to General Heath. Cambridge. They acknowledge his letter of 26 October in reply to theirs of the same date and express their anxiety and concerns about the proposed march of the British and allied prisoners of war from Massachusetts to Virginia which they ask to be delayed until the British troops at Rutland have received shoes, stockings and other necessaries from on board the flag of truce vessel.
