9338. Soloman Ferris. A letter from New York dated 10 October, and signed by Captain Nathaniel Hubbill, commanding the Armed Boatmen, relating the facts on the individual. Another letter dated 11 October. Deposition, put before Chief Justice William Smith by Soloman Ferris, regarding American mis-treatment and claims against him for loss of property, cattle etc.
