The Regional Outcome Indicators (ROIs) series was developed in 2002 by the Regional Co-ordination Unit at the request of the Deputy Prime Minister. The series was put together to: cover key policy themes, including economy, welfare and skills and community safety; incorporate regional, local authority and lower level statistics where possible; be used by Ministers and officials with a cross-cutting interest in delivery as a 'way in' to questions of regional and local variation in performance. |
