He has taken up the ship's mooring anchors and cables and fittings and sent them ashore with Mr. Cole, which has delayed their work in pointing the sails and their departure. He has informed Mr. Corbett that their water is black and stinking from being supplied in new, inadequately seasoned casks. Asks for Mr. Cole to be provided with a vessel to deliver a fresh supply.
