To: The Local Government Act Office.

From: William Baker, Clerk to the Lymington Local Board, Lymington [Hampshire].

Subject Matter: Letter enclosing a handbill [not included in item] which has been printed and circulated in this parish in the last few days. Baker asks whether the parties concerned in the issuing of them might not be successfully indicted for conspiracy to obstruct the Local board in the execution of their duties. He provides further information on the subject of the handbills, with reference to James Weeks. He mentions that James Weeks is a Marine Store dealer 'in very humble life - Mr Grove you know',
