From: George Bailey, Clerk to the Luton Local Board, Luton [Bedfordshire].

Subject Matter: Letter enquiring as to the voting rights of occupiers of houses or tenements under the annual assessment of £10, which has been compounded for by the owners; as to how the vacancy is to be supplied at the next election where a member retiring has ceased to be a member through non attendance, and also as to the rating and charging of the lands and gardens in certain streets in the district built over the last 6 or 7 years dedicated to the public.
