Catalogue description Special Operations Executive: Registry: Italian Section and Middle Eastern and Greek Section Agent Particulars Nominal Index

This series consists of a nominal index of printed agent particulars cards relating to (principally) Italian and Greek Agents. While the cards were clearly intended to list details of individuals, they were sometimes used to note organisation details as well (for example, the Athina Car Company).

The details supplied for each agent vary according to the circumstances, but the cards include spaces for the following details to be listed: country section; personal file reference; location where file is stored; surname and Christian name; any aliases; symbols used; date and place of birth; nationality; contact details; name of spouse; date of recruitment and who recruited by; cessation of employment details (information about termination file references is often included here); any honours or awards recommended (entry is often made here of a note that the subject was not a member of Force 133); details of recompense on discharge; and any other relevant details.
