Folio 10: Mr. Hale, Clerk of the Cheque, Sheerness. He has asked for the accounts to be dispatched with the publication for the sale. The Blaze fireship is finished and has made no more than 2 inches of water from morning to night. Sir Richard Haddock, on board the Charlotte yacht at Spithead has asked for the muster books of the Ossory, Dreadnought, Sandwich, Duchess, Katherine, Royal William and the Duke of Northumberland. He is to advise Mr. Wilkins to provide the books for the latter two ships, which are under his cheque. He is sending the books for the first 3 ships, which are completely fitted, and asks for them to be sent on to Sir Richard Haddock. He will send lists for the Duchess, as the books are not yet completed and he will send lists for the Royal William and Katherine as soon as the ships sail. |
