Title: Quality Assurance Agency: Reports
Description:

This series contains the reports of the Quality Assurance Agency from October 1997 onwards. There are three types of reports:

Subject Review Reports (previously UGC 22). These focus on the common influences that shape the learning experience and achievements of all students in higher education. Such reports are published after every visit.

Subject Overview Reports (previously UGC 22) are published on completion of each subject assessment cycle, and give details of institutions visited and the gradings awarded.

Quality Audit Reports (previously UGC 28) which are undertaken on a regular basis to review the operation and effectiveness of the arrangements for assuring quality and standards, including those for awards. As part of this programme the QAA teams will visit those overseas institutions with which British institutions have collaborated. The resulting reports are included in this series

Selection and destruction information: In 2006 the decision was taken not to continue selecting reports of the Quality Assurance Agency for preservation at The National Archives because they are preserved at the British Library in line with Operational Selection Policy 36 on publications/grey literature.
