Catalogue description Companies Dissolved in Annual Years from 1988: Digital Records

The digital records are provided in an XML schema containing all companies dissolved in a particular year. They are organised by company number. The entry for a company also contains company name, company type, address and a series of transaction broadly in reverse chronological order. They may also contain the date of the last Annual Accounts and Annual Returns that were received. An XSD (XML schema document) is also provided and can be used to validate the XML file.

References for born digital records are automatically generated and display a 'Z' after a forward slash, which distinguish them from traditional references allocated to paper and digitised records.
