Workhouse Inspection Report Form from H B Farnall, Poor Law Inspector, to the Poor Law Board, reporting his inspection of the Mansfield Poor Law Union Workhouse on 14 May 1867; includes details of medical provision, management of the school, the vagrant wards. This is his first visit. He notes on-going work to enlarge the workhouse. He annexes the last report of Edmond H Wodehouse, Her Majesty's Inspector of Workhouse Schools, and also that of [Luteridge, Commissioner in Lunacy], who recommends [Arthur Alfred Garner] as suitable for removal to the district asylum.
