Workhouse Inspection Report Form from H B Farnall, Poor Law Inspector to the Poor Law Board, reporting on his inspection, Basford Poor Law Union Workhouse on 18 December 1866; includes details of medical provision, management of the school, the vagrant wards, etc. Annexed are two notes written into the visiting committee (or other report book) by Edmund Woodhouse, Inspector of Unions School, on the Basford Union School, and the conditions and standard of teaching given; and by [R W Guteridge], Commissioner in Lunacy, into the conditions he found for the care of lunatics in the Basford Poor Law Union.
