The records were created by the Local Government Division from 1985 under the Local Government Group and there under the Financial Management; Public Services (sector) to 1988. From 1989 to 1994, the sector was re-titled simply as 'Public Services' with the other creator levels remaining unchanged. From 1995 to 1998, the 'Spending' (sector) replaced Public Services; the Local Government Group was retitled as 'Local Government' and the Local Government Division disappeared entirely due to the imposition of a shallower Treasury organisational structure. |
