Folios 171-172. Workhouse Inspection Report Form from John Thomas Graves, Poor Law Inspector, to the Poor Law Board, reporting his inspection of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union Workhouse on 16 January 1852; includes details of medical provision, management of the school, the vagrant wards etc. He finds the workhouse generally adequate. There is provision for the sick and infectious cases with the receiving wards in a proper state. Graves states that the last report of the school inspector is unfavourable. He also notes that vagrants are not received in the workhouse except in the case of sickness. Paper Number: 31714/1852. Poor Law Union Number: 526.
