Description:

Leopold HORNIK / Anna HORNIK: Austrian. Formerly an active communist, HORNIK came to Britain in 1938 and became a leader of the communist group in the Austrian Centre in London. He was interned between 1940 and 1942. On his release he resumed communist activity. His wife Anna who shared his communist views was also interned for a short period. Both HORNIKs returned to Austria in 1946
