Administrative / biographical background: |
Management Services Division II was created in 1969 when the Establishment Divisions I and II (which formed part of the Establishment and Organisation Department) were re-named and split between the headquarters and regional functions becoming: Management Services Division I (headquarters) and Management Services Division II (regional). Shortly after this the Establishment and Organisation Department was divided and replaced by an Establishment Department and Management Services Department. The Regional Administration Division was created in 1971 with the reorganisation of the Regions and the setting up of ADAS. This new division had general responsibility for the regional organisation and for ADAS and it consisted of three branches: Branch A (dealing with general regional policy), Branch B (procedures and instructions) and Branch C (ADAS servicing). |
