Captured ship: Zymen en Jan (Simon en Jan) of Amsterdam (master Aryan Cooy (Aryan Kooy, Arian Kooy, Arian Cooy, Adriaan Cooy, Adriaan Kooy)), formerly De Swarte Adelaer.. History: a Dutch ship (60 lasts, 4 men and a boy), bound from Riga to Nantes, laden with hemp; taken on 3/14 June 1745 off Dungeness by the privateer Fox (Richard Castle commanding), and brought into Dover.
