Description:

Captured ship: Les Trois Cousins of La Rochelle (master Jean Groussaud, formerly Jacques Landais, deceased).

History: a French mechant ship (80 tons, 10 guns, 15 men), bound from La Rochelle to Newfoundland, laden with salt, fish and oil; taken on 12/23 September 1747 by HMS Grand Turk (Anthony Kerly commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
