Description:

Captured ship: St Rosalie otherwise Le Postillonof Nantes (master Antoine Videl).

History: a French ship (100 tons, 6 guns, 18 men), bound from Safi in the Maghreb to Cadiz, laden with wax; taken on 10/21 June 1747 in Safia Bay by the privateers King George (George Walker commanding) and Duke (Edward Dottin commanding), and brought into Lisbon.
