Description:

Captured ship: Le Postilion of St Malo (master Joseph Allain Fromy, St Dupuy).

History: a French ship (130 tons, 18 guns, 19 men), bound from Bordeaux to Martinique, laden with wine, beef and candles; taken on 2/13 November 1746 in latitude 43°N by the privateer Blandford (George Stonehouse commanding), and brought into Bristol.
