Description:

Captured ship: Nuestra Senora del Carmen y Animas of San Sebastian (commander Pedro Ignacio Goicoechea, later Francisco de Larrea).

History: a Spanish privateer (180 tons, 19 guns, 181 men), bound from San Sebastian on a cruise; taken on 10/21 November 1741 in latitude 48° by HMS Rupert (John Ambrose commanding), and brought into the River Thames.
