Captured ship: Juffrouw Anna Elizabeth (master Hinderrich Christian Mau or Man). History: a Hamburg ship (100 lasts, 15 men and 1 passenger), bound from Hamburg to Cadiz, Malaga and Marseilles, laden with pipe staves, linen, tin, glasses, bottles, copper etc; taken on 30 August / 10 September 1746 off Dungeness by the privateer Carlisle (William Owen commanding) and brought into the Downs.
