Description:

Captured ship: Duc de Harcourt of Le Havre (commander Charles D'Angelot).

History: a French privateer (80 tons, 14 guns, 62 men), bound from Le Havre on a cruise; taken on 20/31 May 1746 off Land's End by HMS Fly sloop (Patrick Baird commanding), and brought into Penzance.
