Folio(s) 74-75. Letter from [the Reverend Alexander Bunn Haden, Vicar of Wednesbury], Staffordshire magistrate, at Bilston, apologising for his letter of 27 September 1800. He had stated that the high price of grain was maintained by a combination of farmers and corn dealers and had included comments about farmers which he now regretted. He now apologises for this. |
